Mr Lyndon Berwick

Lyndon Berwick is a PhD student within the Curtin Water Quality Research Centre. He graduated from Curtin University of Technology with first class honours in Applied Chemistry (Forensic Science) in 2003. He then worked with the Water Quality Research Group at Curtin for 8 months between 2004 - 2005, performing research mainly in the area of drinking water treatment and distribution, before beginning a PhD in early 2005. The main focus of his PhD is looking at thermal degradation techniques to help improve the compositional and structural characterisation of NOM, with a particular focus on controlled closed-system micro-scale sealed vessel (MSSV) pyrolysis.
